How do I get access to GUS/USDA

In order to run GUS, you will need access to both the GUS system as well as authorization from investors.  Below (and attached) is the process to get your GUS access.

USDA Gus Access as a broker is different than as a lender.  As a broker, we are ‘authorized’ to run GUS through the investor.  As such, the set up is a two part process. The first part is to get USDA access through LOGIN.GOV and then you’ll provide that information to the investor for them to get you access.

  1. Create Your USDA eAuth Account
    1. Visit https://www.eauth.usda.gov
    2. Click “create account”
    3. You’ll be at LOGIN.GOV (eAuth account)
    4. Select "Customer Account (Level 2)"
    5. Complete registration with: o Full legal name o Business contact information o Valid email
    6. Complete identity proofing (online or phone verification)
    7. Confirm eAuth activation via email

Important: Use your official business email to prevent delays.

  2. Contact Each Lender’s USDA Access Department
    • Notify your Account Executive you need GUS access
    • Provide your eAuth email (this is the email you signed up with and likely your C2C email address) to your lender’s USDA department
    • Complete all requested forms if any
    • Our TAX ID is 273503904
    • Lender submits your access request to USDA
    • You should have access in 24 hours

  3. Log Into USDA GUS
    • Visit https://usdalinc.sc.egov.usda.gov
    • Log in using your eAuth credentials
    • Select GUS from the system menu

  4. Start Using GUS

  5. Maintain Active Access
    • Log in periodically to prevent deactivation (90-day inactivity rule)

    • Notify lender of staff changes for GUS access

    • Keep eAuth credentials secure and updated
